Mood Follows Action & Action Cures All
Your mind will follow your lead if you force it to.
But like people, your brain will treat you exactly the way you let it treat you.
If you let it worry constantly get into a death spiral of negativity and anxiety, then that’s what it will do.
But if, on the other hand, you pattern interrupt every time it tries to spiral off into oblivion, you can break it out of its useless habit loops and point it at something that will help you move forward.
You’re never going to be able to silence the negative voice in your head.
But you can absolutely use that negative voice as a habit loop trigger to remind you to reorient your mind towards action.
Taking action on a daily basis towards your goals has the potential of quieting your anxiety.
It’s absolutely astonishing how well that works.
