Take action & seize the day‼️
Well-being is realized by small steps. It’s not glamorous, or sexy, but with time, discipline, consistency & energy, we do make progress.
As Mel Robins says:
“Turn knowledge to action.”
Longfellow, in his beautiful Psalm of Life, puts it perfectly:
“Not enjoyment, & not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.”
One foot in front of the other.
One day after another.
One meal after the other.
One workout after the other.
One check in after the other.
We’ll get better as we go. We’re not, nor will we ever be perfect.
It simply doesn’t exist.
But we can better than we were yesterday?
Ask yourself…Are we farther down the path of self-improvement?
That’s what counts.
Start with doing what you know needs to be done without hesitation. Intelligence be a weapon use both for & against us. Know what needs to be done & act on it daily. Take action steps without hesitation & before that part of the brain injects doubt. The mind is hesitant. It’s there to keep us “safe.” Take it from me as I learned from other high achievers. Safe is the most dangerous place to be.
